Mariemont was one of the first planned communities in the United States. The village was incorporated in 1941. Mariemont is known for its charming homes, it's distinct village square, and its unique history.

Mariemont City School District is located on the east side of Cincinnati, Ohio and includes the villages of Fairfax, Terrace Park, Mariemont, and the unincorporated areas of Plainville and Williams Meadows.
Mariemont High School was the first and only high school in Ohio to receive the U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award three times- '02, '89, and '85. The award is based on a comprehensive educational program including both academic and extracurricular offerings.
Over 50 acres of parkland were created in the village. These spaces are for the enjoyment of all Mariemont residents. The Carillon is located in the Bell Tower at Dogwood Park. Carillon concerts are conducted every Sunday throughout the summer months.
